Valentino was founded in 1959 by Valentino Garavani and is headquartered in Milan. This brand gave its first international debut in Florence in 1962. By the mid-1960′s, the company could successfully establish a client base skyrocketing the popularity of the brand. In 1967 Garavani received the Neiman Marcus Award which further added to the popularity. The brand is mainly targeted to wealthy women who are fixated on luxurious fashion trends.
