EE announces Swap for Early Adopters

The UK based mobile EE has announced the introduction of a new kind of contact that will allow you to upgrade your smartphone in every six month. This service is named Swap.

After 6 months on your 18 or 24 month contract with EE, you will be eligible to upgrade your handset to a new device. However, you will have to take out a new 24 month contract too.

You no longer have to wait until the end of your contract to get a new phone. If you are more than six months into your existing contract and have an eligible device you can swap to a new phone easily and 4G EE plan for a one-off fee.

So, in order to upgrade you will have to pay a fee that will vary according to your contact. The ranges are from £249 on the cheapest contract which starts at £36 per month. Check out for more details at EE.
