Amit Singhal is the famous figure behind ‘Humming Bird’, the new search technology introduced by Google. He invented the technology wherein the meaning of a query can be matched with that of the documents over the internet.
When Amit joined Google in 2000 he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee. He is one of the principle scientists in the Internet giant who has been contributing to enhance searching experiences.

4. Satya Nadella
- EVP, Cloud and enterprise services at Microsoft
Hyderabad born Nadella did his schooling in Hyderabad Public school and did his B-Tech in electrical engineering in 1988 from Mangalore University. He moved into the U.S. to pursue MBA and to do higher education in computer science. He worked with Sun Microsystems before joining Microsoft in 1992.

Bharadwaj, the master brain behind Blackberry 10 is a UK born Indian. He has also worked with Siemens Mobile and BenQ Mobile before landing on to Blackberry.
Bhardwaj was seen warning the company’s decision to expand gadgets other than Smartphones, saying “Tablets make no money”. Blackberry was quoted saying that, “we see the next evolution of the phone back into platform distribution. The real game is content and commerce, not hardware.”
6. Suhail Rizvi
Suhail an Indian born moved to the U.S. at the age of 5. He started his career as a real estate analyst and founded his own company. However, he later sold it in 1995 and bought Puerto Rico based electronics Company. Today, he is able to hold 15 percent of the share in Twitter and has connections with highly influential people including Queen Noor of Jordan, Google’s Larry Page and Eric Schmidt.
7. Sundar Pichai
- Google Android chief
Pichai is the inceptor of Google Chrome. He is currently the head of the world’s most popular mobile operating system, Android. He completed his B-Tech from IIT Kharagpur and joined Google in 2004. At present he is in charge of Chrome web browser and operating system for laptops.
Larry page, CEO of Google complemented Sundar in a blogpost saying “Going forward, Sundar Pichai will lead Android, in addition to his existing work with Chrome and Apps. Sundar has a talent for creating products that are technically excellent yet easy to use-and he loves a big bet.”
