The city of Vancouver in British Columbia is a wonderful place for site seeing in the world. There are a lot beautiful places to visit and it will be probably impossible for me to name all of them. Vancouver do not advocate over-tourism. Most places you’ll see will have some tourists, but it won’t be ridiculously crowded like some larger cities. You will find peace and tranquility here. Vancouver is great in summer as winters are rainy and grey in this city of Great Britain. But, if you love skiing, winter will be the ideal time for you. I have come up with places that are of the best view in the city. Check it out for your next visit.
Seawall, a Great Tourists Spot
The Seawall appeals to the tourists greatly. You will find half the city getting their exercise on foot, bicycle and roller blades on a bright sunny day. The seawall stretches around most of the downtown peninsula and a lot of prominent landmarks.
It is 22 Milometers long, beginning at the Vancouver Convention Center in Coal Harbor and ending on the other side of the water in Kitsilano Beach. It is divided into a lane for cyclists and a different lane for walkers. A few of the attractions along its length include Scienceworld, the Vancouver Convention Center, Siwash Rock, and Kitsilano Beach Park.
Scienceworld, the Telus World of Science
Scienceworld also known as the Telus World of Science is amazing, fun for kids and adults alike. Visiting the outside of the iconic building is worth it in itself. On the interior you will find tons of science related games, experiments and presentations along with massive IMAX Theater inside the dome.
The building and exhibits go under frequent renovation. They also have restaurants and plenty of places to rest inside in case you are hungry or tired.
Kitsilano Beach, the Kits Beach
Kitsilano Beach is known as the Kits Beach among the locals. The sand stretches forever and you will find them tanning in the sun on a fine summer day. If you want to take a peep of the Vancouver lifestyle, this place is ideal for you. Enjoy the views of the city and the North Shore, the free volleyball nets, and the local culture and if you are lucky you might catch fireworks on beautiful summer nights. If you love swimming you may try it too.
Stawamus Chief, Vancouver, British Columbia
Squamish is located halfway between downtown Vancouver and Whistler’s high alpine. It is here the ocean meets the mountains in Sea to Sky country. It lies at the crossroads between incomparable outdoor recreation and unforgettable West Coast culture. Experience the rugged landscapes and stunning vistas come together to create memorable adventures. The places worth visiting are West Coast Railway Heritage Park, Britannia Mine Museum, Alice Lake Provincial Park, Shannon Falls, Stawamus Chief etc. You may also involve in various activities like Wind & Kite Surfing, Scuba Diving, Hiking, Golfing, Fishing, Rock-climbing, Kayaking / Canoeing / Rafting, Cross-Country Skiing, Eagle Viewing etc.
Vancouver Art Gallery, one of the Best Art Galleries in the World
The Vancouver Art Gallery is one of the best art galleries in the world. Check the ‘furniture through time’ exhibit, where you get to see what a typical living room looked like in each decade since 1950, with genuine pieces. It is one of the most well known Vancouver BC attractions. Night visits to the gallery is also worth it as you get to see works of art by prominent Canadian artists, like Emily Carr.

Stanley Park, a huge park full of old growth tree placed at the center of the city
Robson and Granville, one of the best areas to shop in Vancouver
The Molson Canadian Brewery for brewery tours for the beer enthusiasts.
