Twitter updates a new app with latest login security options and photo search gallery

The official Twitter for Android app has been finally updated and the version 4.1.4 is up with a new two-step verification process. A refined photo search experience is also an add on.  According to the official change log:

Now you can protect your account with login verification in the app. This is a new form of two-factor authentication that you can turn on in your settings and manage through push notifications.

Also in this release:

    • Enjoy a new gallery view for photos in search results

    • Other bug fixes and improvements

The new login verification will work with push notifications. SMS messages (or even a phone number) will be vague. This will result in tablet users and international users having a bit more security on their Twitter account.

The new photo search gallery will be accessible by choosing “view more photos” in the search results. A nicely laid out photo grid will pop out where you can see more visual, and since it is about photos you will have more relevant results. This update will be useful to you if you use the official Twitter app. Grab it at the Google Play link below.
