According to a number of websites around the world, Google has recently come up with Hummingbird, its closely guarded formula that runs influential internet search engine for better results.
This updated was rumored about in the past few months. However, Google did not disclose its modifications then.
The changes are estimated to have a major impact on the trafficking of websites. Hummingbird will advocated the most dramatic alteration to its search engine. According to Amit Singhal, a company vice president, “ It revised the way it indexes websites three years ago as part of a redesign called Caffeine”. As per his estimation, the redesign affects about 90 per cent of the search requests Google gets.
It can be understood that any reshuffling of Google’s search rankings can have sweeping ramifications. The reason being, they steer so much of the internet’s traffic. For example, in the US, Google fields about two of out every three search requests and handles an even larger volume in European countries.
Google disclosed this new search formula at an event held in the Menlo Park, California garage on Thrusday. It is the same place where CEO Larry Page and fellow co-founder Sergey Brin started the company 15 years ago.
With this new update sort term keywords such as “buy shoes” will no longer be valid. It will instead focus on long tail search terms like “I want to buy nike shoes online”. It will be more capable of understanding concepts and the relationships between them rather than simply words, which will lead to fluid interactions. Google want to satisfy users and also at the same time cut down search time.

It is the latest search algorithm revealed by Google who claims it to come out with better Answer Results.

Will SEO fade away?
Google says No to this. SEO will still be kept original with high quality content. Signals of the past will be still important. Hummingbird will only allow Google to price them in a brand new way.
What is the role of Google here?
Google will probably replace some of the parts of search engine algorithm with new sets. Thus Google will turn into a new engine built on both existing and new parts. It will be like having an old bike and replacing the old engine with a new one.
