The recent economic recession do not seen to have any impact on them as recruiters like Facebook, Microsoft, or Google are seen offering various exciting packages (upto 1.12 Crore per annum) to these proficient fresher’s in the field.

Himanshu Jindal
Himanshu Jindal is a computer engineering student from Delhi Technological University (DTU) who was approached with a 93 lakh offer package from the search engine giant, Google. The university says that it is the highest offer bagged by any grad in its history. Jindal also broke the previous university record by a long margin.
Excited by the offer by Google, Jindal says, “I am very happy that I got an opportunity to work with one of the most revered companies in the world. It was because my parents’ blessings that I managed to land a job at Google. I would also like to thank my friends for their support.”
Priyanshu Kumar Jha
Priyanshu Kumar Jha could bag a massive $1,80,000 (approximately 1.12 crore) offer from Microsoft. He will now work for Microsoft’s Bing search engine as a development engineer. Jha is from Amdavadi and completed his Bachelor’s degree in information technology from UV Patel College of Engineering and Master’s degree in software engineering from National University of Singapore. Priyanshu who was the youngest in the batch to appear for placements at the University says,” As an engineering student, I always aspired to work for Microsoft at some point in my career. But to have my first job, at this age, as an engineer in Microsoft is a dream come true”. Since he is a fresher with no experience, he will have to spend extra hours and put in a lot of effort to catch up to his batch mates.
Smit Sanghvi
Smit Sanghvi, a final year student of information and communication technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT), is the next entry in the list.
Smit Sanghvi is a final year student of information and communication technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT). He too has grabbed the same offer as Himanshu – 93 lakh pay package + 125 stock units, from Google.
Happy with the offer, Sanghvi says that this opportunity is the best thing that has happened in his life. He thanked his institution for its support and dedicated his achievement to his family, especially his elder brother, who had always been of a great help.
Sanghvi chose for Google’s headquarters at Mountain View, California as his preferred destination for the posting.
Nilesh Agarwal
Nilesh Aggarwal is also from DTU. He was approached by a U.S. based software firm, EPIC, for a huge amount of 70 lakh ($105,000).
Ankit Gupta and Yogesh Sharma
Both Ankit Gupta and Yogesh Sharma, final year B.Tech students from IIIT-A was offered 60 lakh per annum by the popular social networking site Facebook. This made IIIT-A elevated its status on the international IT map.
K Gopi Krishna
K Gopi Krishna is from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal. He was able to bag $135,000 (roughly around 84.6 lakh) from Facebook. He broke the previous university record by about 24 lakhs.
