NSA can easily tap in smartphones or any phone for that matter to listen to voice conversations. According to German news magazine Spiegal it was revealed that NSA can do a lot more. The newspaper claims it has evidence via internal NSA documentation that shows the National Security Agency can read your text messages, grab your location data and much more.
Most probably the documentation specifically mentions iOS and Blackberry. The evidence against Blackberry is so compelling that it seems like they may have handed the keys over to the NSA. Blackberry, however, made it official that it did not give the NSA any permission to break into its users devices.
Well, I do not want to sound like some huge conspiracy theorist or a paranoid loon, but this news has not come to me as a huge shock. Because since it is a government agency, it is common sense that it knows anything and everything and does it by absorbing all the information it possibly can.
