After waiting for a long time and passing through various rumors, earlier this week Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 is finally made official.
This smartphone is listed on Flipkart with a ‘coming soon’ tag without a word on its availability and pricing.
According to Flipkart’s listing, Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 will feature 5.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels and powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It will further come with 12-megapixel rear camera accompanied by dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for the superb picture and video quality. Canvas Doodle 2 is suppose to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. There is a 2600mAh battery with the capacity of 8 hours of talk time. It will be dual SIM with connectivity options like EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. Some of the preloaded apps will include M! Doodle, M! Live, M! Security, M! Zone, Hike, Spuul, Foneclay and Facebook.
The listing also put light on the rumor that it will come with a stylus, much like the original Micromax Canvas Doodle A111. The highly awaited phablet will also include features like Smart Pause, Skitch and Blow or Shake to Unlock.
The promotional copy of the Canvas Doodle 2 says ‘Draw, Depict or Doodle and let your thoughts come to life on a bigger Canvas. Canvas Doodle 2 – Coming Soon!’
