The generation we are living in is known as the touch era. With Android smartphones, slide out QWERTY smartphones is almost loosing its grip. With the emergence of new touchscreen phones, Slideout phones are forgotten and abandoned. In such a scenario, LG has taken the chance to revive the breed again with its LG Enact. US telecom operator Verizon Wireless has already put out LG Enact Android smartphone for sale. This smart gadget will feature a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and along with entry-level specifications.
A few of LG Enact’s major features include:
4-inch WVGA display
Powered by Android 4.1.2
2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8930 processor
8GB of internal memory and allowance for microSD card slot
5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front camera
2460 mAh battery life and LTE support
Additonal features include software customizations like Vu Talk, Quick Translator, QSlide 2.0, Quick Memo, Smart Screen etc.
LG Enact is available at $19.99 if you opt for the usual two-year contract and $349.99 without any contract. Not much of an update is seen on whether the device will be available on other markets too. But if it does, it will probably be launched with a different name.
